Privacy
The short version: the identifier runs in your browser, and we do not collect your searches.
How the search works
When you use the pill identifier, a copy of the search index is downloaded to your browser and all searching happens on your device. The imprint, colour or shape you enter is never sent to our servers and never stored by us. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no search history.
What we do and do not collect
- We do not ask for names, email addresses or any personal details to use the identifier.
- Like every website, our hosting may keep standard technical server logs (such as pages requested and timestamps) for security and reliability. Those logs cannot see what you typed into the search, because searches never leave your device.
- We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If partner offers (such as discount cards) are added later, this page will be updated before they launch, and outbound clicks will be labelled.
- Email you send us (for example a correction report) is used only to handle that message.
